Happy February!
With the first day of each month comes a new beginning to start fresh with anything you want. This month I am going to attempt the 28-Day Blog Challenge! I am new to the blogging world and feel this will be a good way to really get me into it more. There is also a lot I don’t know yet, so what better way to learn than by diving in head first.
Today I added the Contact Me page. I probably won’t blog about all the changes I make (especially since I’m not even up to blogging everyday!) but I plan to try to do at least one thing everyday.
With Valentine’s day right around the corner I hung up a new front door wreath this week.

I wish I could say I made this myself with some inspiration from Pinterest, but alas, there is only so much time in my days. I bought this cute heart-shaped wreath from one of my all time favorite stores, Target.
Today, I also totaled my mileage for the month of January and was quite surprised with the results for running.
92 Miles.
Wow, that’s a lot of running. I know the Disney Marathon helped with the higher (for me) total. One thing that excites me is that if I just run this much for 11 more months I will have reached 1000+ miles for the year. That’s a yearly total I have never achieved before in my 14 years of running. I’m hereby declaring that another goal for the year!
My bike total was really low and actually kinda embarrassing. I’m not the queen of excuses (okay, maybe at times), but in my defense, I was focusing on the marathon and recovery. I also have a half-marathon this month that I’m currently training for. Plus, I was seat-less for the first 2 weeks of the month. Add all those up and you’re left with a measly 26 miles. Definitely room for improvement this month!
I swam a total of three times for 4600 yards. Almost once a week. Again, I can only get better in February.
I will leave you with a picture of the gorgeous flowers my hubby got me the other day after a tough weekend at work. The lilies are blooming beautifully!

I like the idea of the 28 day blog challenge. I just moved and won’t have the Internet for a week it will be hard to do… But I might start thinking about it and do it in March!!
Just starting to train for Wildflower so my milage is about where I want it to be!

Oh I don’t decorate much. I leave that to my wife.
I should add up my mileage. I am guessing a little over 200 on the bike. No idea a about my running

Your blog is really amazing.
Only 249 on the bike and 69 running. Not a good month for either. Hope to get more consistent with both. And oh yeah, I just might have to start swimming.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about with your mileage, that sounds like a pretty good month to me. But yes, consistency is key. And I’m with ya on the swimming…luckily we still have 12 weeks til St. A’s. We’ll be fiiine!
